Five stars isn’t enough for Loquita! This place is an absolute gem if you’re into incredible tacos, mouthwatering cocktails, and top-tier service. From the moment we walked in, Yogi and Rob made us feel like VIPs—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The food? Unreal. The tacos were bursting with flavour, and the guacamole was next-level—fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. But the real standout? The cocktails. Do yourself a favour and try the Mango Batida and Soul Happiness—both were absolute game-changers. Loquita nails the vibe, the service, and the flavours. Can’t wait to come back!

Came for happy hour which was absolutely worth it. Amazing drinks, amazing service, and even more amazing tacos (some of the best I've had in a long time)! Arrived just after 5pm on a Tuesday and the place was very quiet, but it filled up quick so would recommend getting there early.

I absolutely love this place, tequila is my go to drink and this is my go to tequila bar. Absolutely love the bartender Tachi, she has the best attitude and personality all round a beautiful person and bartender. She is very accommodating. Thankyoj Loquita for another beautiful experience!!

Loquita is an absolute hidden gem right in the heart of civic! We went on their taco Tuesday and at $4 a taco, it made for an incredible dinner experience for the price! The tacos, however, I would absolutely pay more for, they were SO good! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also extremely well done. It took me back to my time backpacking in Mexico 🥹🇲🇽

Tachi, is so friendly and great service every time. Seems to be the only one working most times. Great music 🎶 need a bigger dancefloor on weekends. Even if served by someone else sometimes a smile. New girls seem friendly. My partner isn't a fan of the chicken wings. Need more sauces for fries 🍟 other than chilli. Unfortunately I can't eat alot food so can't give an total honest review but the the wings looked shit. Chips were shit first time had them but second time were better.

Dined here tonight: I have lost track of how many times I have been, it is truly an amazing venue !! The service, the flavourful food / drinks menu combined with the atmospheric Mexican experience makes for an awesome outing. P.S Tachi *staff* is sunshine in human form !! my Loquita "wifeeeeyy" forever<3 If your looking for a new venue to try out in Canberra, please let it be Loquita. Trust me, you wont regret it ;P
